Commonly Asked Questions

Each case is different, so we try not to predict how your body will respond to care compared to someone else’s. Depending on your starting point, your health goals, and your commitment, we’ll design a care plan that’s right for you—one that includes scheduled re-assessments, to objectively track and measure progress along the way.

Your initial consultation is free of charge. This gives us both the opportunity to see if progressing with a full assessment makes sense. If you decide to proceed, your neurostructural assessment will be $135 (plus $75 for the results portion of your follow-up visit). This is where we take you through the results from your assessment, and offer our recommendations. Subsequent visits are $55.

The number of follow-up visits will be unique to you. Schedules vary based on each person’s individual concerns, goals, and level of commitment.

Your initial 15-minute consultation is free of charge. This gives us both the opportunity to see if progressing with a full assessment makes sense. If you decide to proceed, you can expect to pay the fees outlined below:

Initial Movement assessment (55 minutes)
One-time charge: $150*
*Note, for ICBC clients, a 30-minute assessment will be covered

Individual Kinesiologist drop-in session (55 minutes)
1x / week – $105/session
2x / week – $100/session

Duo Kinesiologist drop-in session (55 minutes)
1x / week – $90ea/session
2x / week – $80ea/session

We also offer discounted session rates for pre-paid monthly memberships. If you’re interested in learning more about this option, ask us about it during your free consultation!

ICBC Insured Individuals:

If you’re an ICBC client coming here as part of a claim, both your initial movement assessment and your first twelve 30-minute sessions will be covered. You can request to extend your 30-minute (covered) ICBC session with a trainer for an additional fee (not covered by ICBC).

Add-on 15 minutes for a 45 min session – $25 additional fee (paid by the client)
Add-on 30 minutes for a 60 min session – $35 additional fee (paid by the client)

For chiropractic care: Typically, yes! Chiropractic services from a BC registered Chiropractor are covered by most extended health care plans. We offer direct billing with insurance companies, but please be aware that some insurance providers choose to solely deal with their members. If you have any questions regarding coverage, contact us using the form above. We may be able to help!

For movement training: Some insurance providers cover Kinesiology, but most do not. We recommend checking to see if your employer offers a Health Spending Account (HSA) as part of your benefits package. If so, you may be able to use this to pay for your visit.

No, your health and care will always be your choice. And, a healthy body typically needs to be adjusted less frequently than one dealing with health challenges. But, you may decide to keep coming! Many people choose to continue with regular chiropractic care long after their initial concerns have been resolved. The longer our relationship exists, the more we can support you towards optimal health.

The same goes for movement training. Our goal during these movement sessions is always to help you understand how movement in your body works and to build your confidence and physical autonomy so that you do not need to rely on our 1-1 training/movement education.

The short answer is, you don’t, and neither do we until we know more about you. Our approach is different from “traditional” chiropractic or movement training, which tends to focus on a specific injury or condition.

For chiropractic care, we address deeper core problems with your spine and nervous system. If we find any such problems during your neurostructural examination, then we know we can help you. And sometimes, we can help you even if we don’t. But one thing we know for sure is that no matter what health challenge you’re facing or health goal you’re reaching for, you’ll always be better off with a high-functioning spine and nerve system.

For movement training, we use a  comprehensive approach to bettering physical health and improving movement proficiency promotes not only the resolution of current injuries or concerns but the development of a resilient body more capable of both performance and recovery.
